Terms of Service — Mivimoose Draw
Last updated: 28 August 2026
Before you publish this: it is a reasonable starting point written to match
what this software actually does, but it is not legal advice. Fill in the
bracketed placeholders and have someone qualified review it before relying on
it — particularly the liability, governing-law and dispute sections, which are
the parts that vary most by country.
These terms cover [SERVICE NAME] at [YOUR URL], run by [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us"). Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for this kind of service. Signing in uses Discord, so you must also be following Discord's Terms of Service.
2. Your account
Signing in happens through Discord — we never handle a password. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else is using it.
You may change your display name. Names that impersonate someone else, or that are offensive, may be changed or removed.
3. What you make
You keep ownership of the word lists and drawings you create.
When you share a list to the public library, you give us permission to store, display and distribute that list within the service, and you give other players permission to download and use it. You can take your own shared lists down at any time. Please only share lists you have the right to share.
Drawings you save stay private to your gallery unless you choose to share the image yourself.
4. How to behave
Don't:
- draw, type or upload anything hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or illegal;
- share lists designed to get people to draw that sort of thing;
- impersonate other people;
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around
- its rate limits, filters or moderation;
- use bots, scripts or modified clients to gain an advantage — including reading
- the answer out of network traffic;
- spam chat, or deliberately ruin games for other people.
An automatic profanity filter runs on shared lists. It is not perfect and its presence does not make everything that gets through acceptable.
5. Moderation
Moderators can remove any shared list and stop an account from sharing lists. Hosts can remove players from their own rooms. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and we can do so without notice where the behaviour is serious. If you think we got it wrong, email [CONTACT EMAIL].
6. Availability
The service is provided as-is and free of charge. We may change, break, take down or discontinue any part of it at any time, and there is no guarantee that it will be available, or that your saved lists, drawings or statistics will survive a failure, a migration or a shutdown. Export anything you would be sad to lose — lists can be downloaded as .txt, and hosts can download a whole room as .zip.
7. Other people's services
Sign-in and Discord Activity features depend on Discord, and are subject to Discord's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Discord.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to [AMOUNT, e.g. £100 / the amount you paid us, which is nothing].
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Ending it
You can stop at any time; delete your data from the account panel or ask us to remove your account. We may end your access if you break these terms. Sections 3, 8, 9 and 11 survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [JURISDICTION], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and significant changes will be announced in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

The software itself is open source; these terms cover the hosted service, not the source code.
